Dawson Pediatrics Peach Kids Triathlon

The Dawson Pediatrics Peach Kids Triathlon is one of North Georgia’s premier youth multisport events, giving children the opportunity to experience the excitement of swimming, biking, and running in a safe, encouraging, and family-friendly environment. Held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Veterans Park in Dawsonville, Georgia, the event welcomes athletes ages 6 to 14 and offers age-appropriate race distances that help build confidence while encouraging healthy competition.

A Fun Youth Triathlon In Dawsonville

Whether your child is participating in their very first triathlon or returning to improve on last year’s performance, the Dawson Pediatrics Peach Kids Triathlon provides a professionally organized race experience with excellent volunteers, community support, and a positive atmosphere. Every participant can enjoy the challenge of completing three disciplines while celebrating fitness, determination, and sportsmanship.

Three race divisions allow young athletes to compete against others in their own age group:

Junior (Ages 6–8)

• 50-yard swim
• 1.5-mile bike
• 500-yard run

Intermediate (Ages 9–11)

• 100-yard swim
• 3-mile bike
• 1K run

Senior (Ages 12–14)

• 200-yard swim
• 6-mile bike
• 2K run

The race takes place at Veterans Park, 186 Recreation Road, Dawsonville, GA, where participants enjoy a well-designed course with plenty of room for spectators to cheer them on throughout the event.

Registration is $75 plus processing fees through July 28, 2026. After that date, the registration fee increases, so early registration is encouraged.
